  • If you are a woman, you may feel discriminated at some places.
  • Some laws are archaic and need to be changed. If you are in the wrong place at the wrong time you might feel intimidated.
  • The internet censorship is a big thing in the UAE and they take it very seriously. It can put you off when a website you need to access is blocked.
  • Driving and the roads can be difficult. Understanding the addresses and navigating can be a task for someone new. Also, the driving laws are uber strict which can stress you out.
  • Red tapism among bureaucrats can make it difficult to get things done.
