Pros

• The social life in Moscow is vibrant, and it is very accommodating to new residents. You will find an assortment of expat clubs that organize numerous events, soirees, and charity events throughout the year. The capital offers bars and clubs at various price points, and let’s say the city never sleeps. Moscow is always famous for its fine arts, and the ballet companies are considered one of the best in the world. 
• The education system is excellent, and you will find multiple international schools with modern facilities. 
• Moscow is considered a relatively safer place, and you won’t have to worry about your wallet walking home late at night. 
• It has an excellent medical system, and the majority of the doctors can converse in English. 
• Public transport is safe, efficient, and cheap. Some of the metro stations are built beautifully and can be considered art. 

Cons

• The cost of living is relatively high. A one-bedroom flat in a prime location can fetch arent of 67,259.62 Rubles.
• The weather conditions are very extreme, and the winters can last for more than four months. Temperatures drop as low as -35 degrees. 
• If you plan on using a vehicle to move about, be ready to endure horrible traffic.
• You might find instances of corruption and bribery in the bureaucracy, especially as an expat.
• You might find a small portion of the population to be narrow-minded and generally unpleasant.
